I’ve wanted to do this project last week already but I had camera issues! which I did manage to fix but I really have to start looking into upgrading my camera hehe. Anywho I’ve wanted to do autumn-inspired project, and during a trip to IKEA I spotted these little shadowbox frames. I immediately thought it could be perfect for a papercraft project — something small, layered, and a bit spoopy.
So this week I made a tiny paper diorama of a house at the end of the road, surrounded by trees and falling leaves. It’s just the right mood for October! Everything is made from paper and layered inside the frame to give it some depth.
I love how it turned out in the end!
If you’d like to see how it came together, be sure to check out the YouTube video.
TOOLS AND MATERIALS I USED:
- colored paper like canson mi-teintes
- balsa wood scraps or you could try double sided foam pads
- optional ikea frame RÖDALM
