Spun Cotton Pumpkins

This has been an experiment for me making these pumpkins! I have never made spun cotton ornaments before and I really wanted to try. Originally spun cotton ornaments were made in 19th century in Germany and they used starch as the glue. A few mistakes I made was painting directly on the mod podge, so I think if you coat the whole pumpkin with a gesso coat first. But in the end I think it came out alright and I will use the pumpkins on Halloween themed wreath for the door =)
